My career as a woodcrafter began when I walked into the Kirkland workshop of maestro Jan Zoltowski in 2009. I was fascinated in particular by the scrollsaw he had in his workshop and he invited me to come back and try cutting out a design or two he had. Since then I have worked in his workshop regularly, helping him on numerous objects that needed restoration, repairs, or refinishing. I could not have done any of the projects on this website without him and his guidance. The time with my teacher Janusz was bitterly cut short in August 2012 when the Maestro died of cancer.
