This was my 'graduation' restoration commission from my teacher Janusz ZOltowski. We talked about how to go about it, but he essentially left me to do it myself. This project will always have a bitter memory for me because during its long restoration, Mr. Zoltowski suffered through chemotherapy and radiation and died from cancer in August 2012. In the end, I depended on Mrs. Zoltowski to get the final touches right. The most challenging part of this project was the custom fitting of the brass inlay. Click on any picture to view full size
