This was a really cool project - Since the original piece had sentimental value and was made with high quality cherry my job sounded easy - converting a bulky (and now obsolete), TV cabinet, into a slimmer media / book cabinet. I remade the left side completely, building in two sets of shelves and a bigger shelf on the top, while converting the sliding doors and the lower drawer to work with the new dimensions. I also left the option to potentially put in a flat screen TV in the cabinet if ever the need arises by having the middle divider be removable. Click on any picture to view full size
