This was a special commission from my mentor Janusz Zoltowski. The foldout cabinet door, which serves as a writing pad was in poor shape:
the left side was hanging by only the veneer, with multiple cracks caused by wood shrinkage running along lengthwise; the edge of one corner
was previously poorly restored and the writing pad needed a new surface.
With the maestro's advice and guidance, the writing pad
was replaced with leather and accented with gold borders, and the corner and two surfaces were properly glued and restored.
