This willow bench project was another 'first' that I have attempted. I watched some videos on youtube, borrowed a chainsaw and went to work. I wanted the bench to sit on concrete to make it last longer and also to be as stable as possible. Once I cut deep enough a part of the heartwood started showing up to make a nice little feature in the middle. I epoxied that and coated the entire thing with some Daly's Aquaspar.
